A major demonstration advocating for veteran rights and benefits is set to take place in Washington, D.C. next month. The Unite for Veterans, Unite for America Rally aims to bring together thousands of veterans, military families, and supporters to address concerns about federal employment and healthcare access.
Event Details
The rally is scheduled for Friday, June 6th, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM ET on the National Mall. Participants will gather north of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, where 6th Street crosses the Mall.
Organizers chose June 6th, which marks the anniversary of the D-Day landings during World War II, for their demonstration date.

Rally Focus Areas
According to organizers, the event will address three primary concerns: defending veteran employment in federal agencies, opposing privatization of Department of Veterans Affairs services, and holding elected officials accountable for veteran-related policies.
The rally comes amid reports of significant job losses among veterans and military family members in federal positions, along with concerns about reductions to VA healthcare and benefit programs.
Organizers describe the gathering as part of a historical tradition of veteran advocacy, referencing previous movements including the 1932 Bonus Army march and campaigns for GI Bill benefits and Agent Orange medical care recognition.
The event is being funded through grassroots donations to cover organizational costs and outreach efforts leading up to the demonstration.
